Reads sequenced from stranded RNA libraries made from Oregon-R Drosophila melanogaster 10% EtOH Third Instar larvae were aligned to the D. melanogaster r5 genome using Bowtie and to predicted splice junctions using SPA, retaining only uniquely mapped reads. Tracks show read alignments and density.

General Description

RNA-seq analysis was performed on poly(A)+ RNA from D. melanogaster treated with various chemicals through feeding, subjected to temperature shock, or exposure to viruses. Stranded reads from Illumina GAIIx and HiSeq sequencing were aligned to the D. melanogaster r5 genome using Bowtie (Langmead, 2010) and SPA (Graveley et al., 2011)
